Dig It™ Gloves were created by two Canadian women - you may have seen them on CBC’s Dragons’ Den last year. These hard working gloves are designed specifically for women to protect not only your hands, but your nails too. In fact, they’re known as the “first working-glove to pamper your manicure”. They have a reinforced pillow top protector built on the inside of the glove that prevents the nail from direct contact with the glove.

You can buy them on-line through a site called Botanus.com which is also owned by two women (love it!). These two ladies thoroughly test any product they feature on their website and, although they were initially intrigued by the fact that Dig It gloves are made from 100% recycled materials, after using them, it’s their durability and snug, comfortable fit that makes these gloves a real standout. Two padded thumbs up!

Dig It™ Gloves aren’t just for gardeners. They’re great for all kinds of work where your hands will benefit from protection: cleaning, sorting recycling and storage, sweeping, window washing - all of our favourite things! In fact, they’re also great for fun activities like golf (because of the palm grips), sailing and kayaking (they can get wet but dry quickly).

Healthwise, there’s no issue with latex allergies and the formfitting gloves are also proving to be a hit with people who have arthritis - “hands don’t swell because they’re breathable”.
